The Hoopa Valley  

Briar Patch Winery lies in the heart of beautiful Humboldt County. Located in the Northern California, Hoopa Valley is a valley on the lower course of the Trinity River between the confluence of South Fork Trinity River and the Klamath River. Home to the Hoopa Valley Tribe, the climate is ideal for growing fruit and berries.

Climate

This region experiences warm (but not hot) and dry summers, with no average monthly temperatures above 71.6 °F. Ideal growing conditions for wild berries and numerous forms of agriculture.

The natural beauty of the Hoopa Valley is captured by our property where the wines are made.  Local briar patches and the Trinity River valley is a very welcome site to all.
